Mumbai Games Gymnastics Event

Format:

  1. Events & Age groups for Artistic Gymnastics
    • Boys: U/8 & U/10
      Events : Floor Exercises & Vaulting Table
    • Boys: U/12, U/14, U/17 & Above 17
      Events: Parallel Bars, Floor Exercises, Vaulting Table
    • Girls: U/8 & U/10
      Floor Exercises & Balancing Beam
    • Girls : U/12, U/15 & above 15
      Floor Exercises, Balancing Beam & Vaulting Table
  2. Technical Rules of Artistic Gymnastics competitions
    • Boys above 17 & Girls above 15
      A value elements: 5 / B value elements: 4 / C value element:1
      Total difficulty value: 10 points.
    • Boys U/17 & Girls U/15 :
      A value elements: 7 & B value elements: 3, Total Difficulty value : 10
      Execution value : 10 points : Total value of performance : 20 points.
    • Boys U/14, Girls U/12, Boys U/12 & Girls U/10
      A value elements : 5 & B value elements : 2 : Total 7 elements:
      Difficulty value 7 points + Execution value 10 points:
      Total value of performance : 17 points.
    • Boys U/10, Boys U/8 & Girls U/8
      A value elements : 7 with difficulty value of 7 points + Execution value 10 points : Total value of performance : 17 points.
    • For each missing element 1 point will be deducted from difficulty value.
    • Each gymnast has to perform number of difficulty elements as per the table given above.
    • No extra element will be counted.
    • Difficulty elements & Executional Deductions will be evaluated as per GFI/FIG Code of points.
    • The execution value of 10 points of Girls' gymnast includes 1 point for music.
    • The evaluation on Vaulting Table will be as per FIG & GFI code of points.
    • There will be only one extra chance for missing run for Vaulting Table.
  3. Other Rules:
      • Players will NOT be allowed to enter the hall without an ID proof.
      • Players should always wear their Mumbai Games BIB.
      • Players found without the BIBs will be disqualified.
      • Players have to report at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time.
      • Players have to register at the registration desk at least 30 min prior to the start of their round.
      • Practice or warm up will NOT be available.
      • Only those players who is scheduled to start immediately should be in the event arena.
      • Players have to be in the player’s arena at all point of time.
      • Audience and supporters are not allowed on the playing area.
      • Players have to clarify the rules with the referee before the start of the match.
      • No abusive language, violence or arguments will be allowed. If found so the player will be disqualified.
      • In case of dispute, players have to submit a formal written complaint within 15 minutes from the occurrence of the dispute. Referee Decision will be final and binding.
      • The Referees decision will be final and binding for all matters pertaining to the event/tournament.
